A Prayer Request . . .

We are at a rather crucial point in our adoption process. We received word yesterday that we did not receive any money from the other grant source (Show Hope), and so we are relying heavily on the matching grant we have been promised from LifeSong for Orphans (see my "Exciting News is Real" post). 

We also found out that we need to have the rest of the adoption payments made BEFORE we can make our plane reservations and fly to Hungary. Of course that does make sense, but it's possible that we could receive word that we can go to Hungary but then not be able to because we haven't paid off the rest of the adoption fees. 

So I'm asking for your prayers. Please ask the Lord to provide the needed funds (approximately $10,000) before we actually receive word from the Hungarian officials that we can travel there. 

More specifically...we have a $2,000 payment due at the end of this month (one week from today), and we do not have all of it at this time. We are short about $1300. So would you please pray for the Lord to miraculously provide that money? We would really appreciate it!

I'll keep you posted as to how and when the Lord chooses to answer all of our prayers. In the mean time, Bruce and I continue to rest in His abiding love and amazing grace.
