We've been approved!

A short post to update everyone...

Monday we received word that our Hungarian approval (called a "referral") has come through! Please praise the Lord with us. 

We still need to wait for the packet of information (in English) to come to us. That could take a few more weeks. Then we need to send in our I800 form to USCIS (Immigration Dept.) and wait another few weeks for it to come back to us with their approval. Then we should receive word as to when we can go to Hungary.

God put us in contact with another family who adopted a child from Hungary (through our adoption agency). They just returned home the end of November. Once they received their referral from Hungary, everything went quite quickly for them. They met their little girl within 6 weeks of receiving their referral. We pray our waiting time would be the same. If so, we should be able to fly to Hungary by the 2nd week of April!
